If all goes well this week, I will be purchasing the gear for my new PC next week and it will be 5-600AUD cheaper then I anticipated.

Here’s a Rundown of what I will get:

CPU: AMD Athlon X2 64 6000+ 3GHz Dual Core CPU
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 (AMD 770 Chipset)
Video Card: nVidia GeForce 9600 GT 1GB GDDR3
Memory: 4GB DDR2 800MHz Dual Channel Memory
Hard Disk: 500 GB SATA2/7200RPM/16MB Cache HDD (Upgradable because 500gb won’t last me long)
CD/DVD-RW: Asus/Pioneer 20X LightScribe CD/DVD Burner
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit OEM SP1 (I hate myself for this bit)

Total Cost: $1219aud (Inc. Postage)

Its not much of an upgrade in some aspects, but it will serve me well for afew years =)

But yeah, Here’s hoping all goes well because I really want to get my new pc and do some maintenance on this one and give it to my mum as an upgrade for her’s.

Also, Starship Troopers: Marauder isn’t a bad movie considering it was made with 85million less for its budget then the first movie.

So afew days ago I came home from work and found out that my Old ISP’s Customer base had been purchased by a new ISP, This one is called SuperNERD. I lol’d because this is fast becoming a common occurrence around here.

I’m home for my 2 days off now and I have a todo list a mile long almost but hey, it happens when you spread yourself thin.
