Eleven and a half hours ago, I was called to the front end at work because someone else arrived for my shift, so I ended up going home and I was a bit annoyed about that, no one confirmed with me that I’d have friday off as well (I didn’t want friday off). I tried to contacted the Duty Supervisor who told me I wasn’t rostered on after he left a message on my phone to contact him about working the shift, every time getting an answering service so I gave up calling when my ride home arrived. I now have to call my boss on monday morning regarding payment for that shift as no one told me I wasn’t rostered for that shift and I turned up expecting to work it. Terri (Client’s Front-end Supervisor *And an awesome friend*) wasn’t too happy (I’m Sorry Terri!) about it.

In about half an hour, I’ll be going on my 3rd walk for the week and 2nd walk at the new route I setup.
Yesterday, I walked the new route to clear my mind, today I’m just going out to walk. I think these walks are becoming more then just an hour (or so) long walk for my own health and well being, because I constantly find my mind wandering elsewhere on other thoughts, feelings and issues.

Yeah, this is a good thing I know even if just for the exercise. I was even complemented on the supposed loss of weight by some fellow security workers. I can’t see this weight loss, but I never see anything positive about myself (please don’t jump me about this people, I consider myself comfortable with who I am) as far as my physical appearance.

Well, I’m off to rearrange the music on my phone before going on the above mentioned walk.

So, Yesterday I was down at my local doctor’s having blood taken for several tests (No idea what they are, My doctor just said ‘various health checks’). Anyway, after getting stabbed with the needle (I HATE NEEDLES and the sight of my own blood) and having about 8 large tube things of blood taken from my left arm, She tells me that one of these tests require a Urine sample.

My question (honest to god, I actually asked it right there and then) to the person who did the blood taking and stuff was ‘What the? how the hell am I meant to piss on command when I’ve had no liquids for the last 12 hours..?’

I went off to the head (toilet) and sure enough, on command, I filled that sucker.

Seriously though, HOW THE HELL DOES A HUMAN BEING DO THAT?!?!? lol

Why? because I have a Australian Rules Football(s) for eyes lol. At least that’s how the hot optometrist chick explained it to me. But hey, here’s the wikipedia entry.

Yep, I booked an appointment with an optometrist to have my eyes examined this coming monday. Been meaning to do this for awhile but haven’t had the chance to, at least now its all booked and on a day off too so yay.

Also I hope to have a doctor’s appointment this week or next week. Your lord and saviour isn’t feeling to crash hawt right now.

And yay for me!

I messaged Wil after accidentally stumbling across his profile on facebook and sent him a message saying thanks for being awesome on Triple J’s breakfast show (I listened to him every morning in my senior years at high school) and he actually replied to me. freakin’ awesome!

So while at work this evening, my co-worker Renata asked me a question. That question being, “Why do you do this?” (working, being bored).

Now honestly, I couldn’t give her an answer because it required thought and upon thinking about it for several hours before this post I think I came up with an answer.

My answer was this:
Beyond just doing it to survive, I have a purpose that drives me. Someone who motivates me everyday to reach my goal. This purpose and goal is of course dependent on that person and myself, but even if it doesn’t work out in the end, I will still have my thoughts, feelings and well being.

Yes, its true ladies and gentlemen. The Lord and Saviour of your universe (aka me) might be heading to the United States in the next year or so. Why you may ask? its simple, I’ve never been out of the country since I was a baby and like everyone else, I’d like to travel sometime in my life and I may as well do it while I’m young hey? hehe.

I was checking out return ticket prices through Qantas (their track record lately hasn’t be too good but still) and I was pleasantly surprised with the prices for the location/s that I wish to fly out too.

The trick to all this of course is, that I keep money in my bank account when it is put in there when I get paid (and not taking it out and spending it like I usually do) lol. Of course, I have someone to motivate me to that end. I just hope that some things last long enough for this to be worth wild.

Anyways, I’m in the middle of my Warlock’s dailies in World of Warcraft, so I best get back to them! also yay! Wrath of the Lich King Nov.14(Australian Release Day – I prolly won’t get my copy til the following week because I ordered online)
