Four day weekend coming up & Little brother moving back home.

So, my four day weekend is coming up, people keep telling me to go see District 9 and I just might do that. I also spoke to Bevis and depending on what that knob jockey is getting upto on the weekend, I may chill with him, Jess and the little ones as well heh.

Oh, My little brother Chachi (that’s not his real name you boobs), is moving back here for a little while. Going to be interesting, bet you he burns all my bandwidth in a week forcing me to buy more data blocks =p

And just for added effect, some Art (of sorts) =p

Champions Online, New Site Layout & Music Video

So, the open beta started recently for champions online. I would say I am in it and impressed, but with all beta testing, there will be problems. That said, I’m choosing to wait until the final release of Champions Online on September 1st (well that’s not entirely true, I have to wait until September 10th to get my copy of Champions Online, EBgames fail for the 9 day delay)

From what I’ve seen, its going to be a really good MMO as its Cryptic’s second attempt at a Heroes/Villains MMO (for those of you who don’t know, Cryptic developed City of Heroes/Villains). I’ve been following Champions now for awhile and decided to pick up a lifetime subscription while they were available because with it came some nice added bonuses.

Lifetime Subscriptions come with:
* Access to the Star Trek Online Closed Beta, beginning later this year!
* Exclusive Art Deco costume set , available only to lifetime subscribers
* Retro Future costume set.
* Unique Mirror Universe outfit for Star Trek Online, available at the game’s release
* Exclusive in-game Foxbat action figure, available only to lifetime subscribers
* Eight additional character slots!

In the end, that set me back $240AU. Which is what it would cost me to play for a full year after it is released.

Oh, while I remember, I just changed the site layout, what do you think? its pretty nifty, It originally came as a 3 column layout/theme, but with a plug-in, I was able to reduce it to one column and customize the CSS to something I liked.

Anyways, I’m off now, daily quests to complete, Horde to PWN. I shall leave you with the following video clip.
