Amerika-jin.
lol. I really did say american in english when the audio lesson was actually asking me to say it in japanese ‘amerika-jin’
I’m mental like that though. Lesson 1 complete, though I’m going to go through it again just to get the words I can barely say down. Think I might call the Japanese Foundation on Monday and see if they know of any places in Melbourne that teach Japanese.

Its not going very well. I want to be awake during the day gorramn it like a *sigh* ‘normal’ person.
Of course now I’m in my 5 days of work for the week, so this is totally going to wreak havoc with my energy levels when I attempt to wake up later today several hours before work.
So I want to learn to speak, read and write Japanese but have no idea where to start. Also is the fact I would have to practice or risk forgetting how.
But isn’t that the problem with most things we do? There are a few things we don’t ever foget, like how to ride a bike, but it is daunting.
if anyone knows of a place that traches Japanese (Victoria, Australia ONLY) or where I can buy learning materials, please let me know.

Where I realize that I want something more then just sitting awake night after night at my computer playing games, this also isn’t helping my weight or other problems either. Don’t get me wrong when I say that, I am very comfortable with who I am and how I look, its just not healthy to continue being so.
I was watching some anime earlier (and hentai too. because it makes me laugh so hard because they try to incorporate a story into it) and thought how it would be nice to speak/read/write Japanese. I once was learning Japanese as a language when I was in school, but because I went to many different schools throughout my life, I never really got any good at it (plus some of those schools had different language teachers).
I really do want something more out of life, and I think its time I start working towards that. I’m almost 1/3 of the way through my life, time to get myself out there doing stuff.
~Why? because I can.
